Graduations this week

Lots and lots and lots of graduation cookies this week.  A little overwhelming and soooo very time consuming.  

Boxed graduation set--$25 (12 cookies in a gift box, tied with ribbon)

Southeastern High School graduate, headed to Manchester University.  He loves music, and plays soccer.

Penn High School graduate who played rugby.

St Joseph High School graduate, headed to Western Michigan University.  She's a "music theater" major.

I made two large platter of bite size minis to celebrate one daughter graduating from Penn High School and one graduating from Purdue University.  They are both headed to University of Indianapolis in the fall--one for her ungrad degree and the other for her master.  Lovely family.  Ü

Large platter for a Home School graduation party.  Adrianna LOVES cats and music....More and more local families are 'home schooling' in our area.  We have a great public school system, so it's a little hard for me to understand.  Kudos to them for being organized and patient enough to do it themselves.  Ü

21st Birthday: Purdue

An assortment of cookies for a Purdue student turning the big "2-1".  He is a chemical engineering major, involved with PMO (Purdue Musical Organizations), and also competes in ballroom dance.  I had to add Purdue Pete, the Purdue train, and of course, a couple beer mugs.  Twenty-four cookies in all, so he can share.  His mom loved them, I hope he does, too!

Jungle Jill Baby Shower

I loved the theme! "Jungle Jill" by Carter's.  Very cute little safari animals, with pretty pink, lime, and yellow.  Lots of fun to do!!

ND/ACE/Teacher

The Alliance for Catholic Education program helps prepare graduating teachers to serve Catholic school children.  A wonderful service to our community!

90th Birthday, Miles style

Happy 90th Birthday, Helen Free. 

She worked at Miles and changed the way patients managed their diabetes. Remarkable woman. Her daughter-in-law requested "Speedy", Alka Seltzer, and other images that I had no clue...It all came together though!

Giraffe Baby Shower

I started my baking journey with cakes, and have since migrated to cookies.......but after doing this cake/cookie combination, I think that I found the best of both worlds! A "simple" 2 tier (4 total layers) cake, with polka dots, borders, and a few cookies adhered with fluffy buttercream frosting.  Made to match the baby shower decor perfectly.  I guess because I haven't decorated a cake in a while, I LOVED doing it again. Ü

A birthday platter for a 90 year young man.  He loves baseball, golf and Notre Dame.  Happy Birthday "Papa Joe Sweet!"

Snow Ball invite

A mother was looking for a creative way for her son to find a date for "the Snow Ball" dance.  She saw a prom cookie invite (on a circle cookie), and wanted to know if I could do a similar one.  We decided to use a snow flake for the big cookie.  Needless to say, he had a date for the "Snow Ball."
