Mario and Friends

College kids like cookies, too!
I'm usually guilty of making cookies for everyone but my own kids.  With my oldest off to college now, I thought it would be fun to surprise a couple of his friends with special cookies.  The kids were very happy to receive a care package from some one else's mom.  My son was also surprised because he didn't know he was also getting some.

Star Trek cookies for my sons friend, Levi. These are his favorite characters, along with the famous "red shirt" and emblem.  Levi loved them.

For my sons other good friend, Phil.  They are still into video games, and not drinking.  So, I'll help reinforce their addiction. *Ü*

My sons box of goodies.  He also LOVES Star Wars, and is a mild Star Trek fan.

**These cookies are all copyrighted images and not available for sale; they were lovingly made and given away for free**

Navy and Teal bridal shower

Party platter for a bridal shower.

Wedding cakes, hearts, mini doves, large bridal gowns, and diamond rings.
I used Duff edible airbrush food coloring to paint the rings for extra shine. I love how they turned out. I also used a little white sanding sugar for sparkle on the mini doves.

Last of graduation 2012...

Twins graduating from Penn High School, heading their separate ways to college.  To rival colleges no less--Purdue for Conner, and IU for Caleb.  Both boys worked the last couple years at the local Martin's Supermarket, so I thought I'd throw that in the mix.

Caleb's IU platter; all arranged and ready to display.

Mixed-up platter

I was called by a mom who is the HASA (Home And School Association) president at a local Catholic school.  She had a special request; she wanted a mixed-up platter so she could show the principal and other school officials what I could do for them for their various functions.  Wow, was it A LOT of work.  All of the different colors and designs really added a ton decorating time!  I was pleased with the results, and so was she.

Christmas (Three Wise Men).  I loved how they turned out.  I will have to add them to my Christmas list.  So cute.  I used a tulip cutter for two of the  kings, and a circle for the other.  If I were to do several of the silhouette cookies, I would make a stencil instead of piping it.
