Graduations this week

Lots and lots and lots of graduation cookies this week.  A little overwhelming and soooo very time consuming.  

Boxed graduation set--$25 (12 cookies in a gift box, tied with ribbon)

Southeastern High School graduate, headed to Manchester University.  He loves music, and plays soccer.

Penn High School graduate who played rugby.

St Joseph High School graduate, headed to Western Michigan University.  She's a "music theater" major.

I made two large platter of bite size minis to celebrate one daughter graduating from Penn High School and one graduating from Purdue University.  They are both headed to University of Indianapolis in the fall--one for her ungrad degree and the other for her master.  Lovely family.  Ü

Large platter for a Home School graduation party.  Adrianna LOVES cats and music....More and more local families are 'home schooling' in our area.  We have a great public school system, so it's a little hard for me to understand.  Kudos to them for being organized and patient enough to do it themselves.  Ü

All boxed and ready for his aunt to ship.  I think they are going somewhere up in Michigan?  Never heard of the school, but I do know their mascot, who looks like a pirate, is a "VANDAL."  Um, not what I'd want my mascot to be in this day and age.  Ü

21st Birthday: Purdue

An assortment of cookies for a Purdue student turning the big "2-1".  He is a chemical engineering major, involved with PMO (Purdue Musical Organizations), and also competes in ballroom dance.  I had to add Purdue Pete, the Purdue train, and of course, a couple beer mugs.  Twenty-four cookies in all, so he can share.  His mom loved them, I hope he does, too!

Last of graduation 2012...

Twins graduating from Penn High School, heading their separate ways to college.  To rival colleges no less--Purdue for Conner, and IU for Caleb.  Both boys worked the last couple years at the local Martin's Supermarket, so I thought I'd throw that in the mix.

Mixed-up platter

I was called by a mom who is the HASA (Home And School Association) president at a local Catholic school.  She had a special request; she wanted a mixed-up platter so she could show the principal and other school officials what I could do for them for their various functions.  Wow, was it A LOT of work.  All of the different colors and designs really added a ton decorating time!  I was pleased with the results, and so was she.

Christmas (Three Wise Men).  I loved how they turned out.  I will have to add them to my Christmas list.  So cute.  I used a tulip cutter for two of the  kings, and a circle for the other.  If I were to do several of the silhouette cookies, I would make a stencil instead of piping it.

Graduation 2012

My husband made be a Purdue cookie cutter.  Since our oldest son just decided on Purdue for his college, we thought it would come in handy.  I already got to use it for my sons' friend.
